At Sta. Barbara Heights, we believe a township is more than just homes and roads—it’s a living, growing community where families thrive and futures take root. This belief blooms into reality as we welcome one of the Philippines’ most respected Montessori institutions, The Abba’s Orchard, to our vibrant and master-planned community.
Set to open in School Year 2026–2027, The Abba’s Orchard will establish its first Iloilo campus on a sprawling one-hectare, tree-covered property right at the heart of Sta. Barbara Heights. This addition marks a milestone for our 173-hectare township developed by Global-Estate Resorts, Inc. (Geri), a proud subsidiary of Megaworld Corporation.
The upcoming campus will initially offer Casa (ages 3–6) and Elementary Level 1 (Grades 1–3) programs, with plans to introduce the Erdkinder level in the future—a unique Montessori experience blending academics with farm-based, real-world learning.
Founded in 1999 by Chris and Ann Barrameda, The Abba’s Orchard has grown into a 14-campus network that faithfully upholds the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori—nurturing curiosity, independence, and responsibility in every learner.
This exciting development adds another meaningful layer to Sta. Barbara Heights, which is already home to a vibrant town center, residential villages, and a proposed business park, with direct access to the Iloilo International Airport. Nestled near landmarks like the historic Sta. Barbara Church and the Iloilo Golf Course and Country Club, the township continues to honor Iloilo’s rich heritage while paving the way for progressive living.
Here at Sta. Barbara Heights, we’re not just building spaces—we’re cultivating futures.
